Abstract

This essay deals with two troublesome poems of Xosé M.ª Díaz Castro. One poem, the “Hymne au Socialisme”, was written in French at a date not yet determined. The other one, “No combate”, was probably written at the end of the Spanish Civil War. Though there are some doubts about the authorship of the first poem −which shows a Marxist inspiration−, the second one instead express the Traditionalist ideology of Díaz Castro at the time of writing the poem.
