Abstract

This paper falls into three sections. First, the intellectual movements in vogue during Fraguas’s career are covered: Functionalism, Structuralism, Symbolism, Deconstruction Theory. Secondly, it is showed that the ideas of Nós shaped Fraguas’s background. Finally, a reflection is made upon Galicia and Galician identity as conceived by Antonio Fraguas.
