The theme of religion in Carlos Casares has a complex trajectory, in which one should distinguish between the biographical course on the one hand, and the manifestations of its living experience on the other. As to the latter, attention is first paid to those explicit manifestations found in his work, and secondly to its meaning as a sign and indication of the peculiar presence of religion in the time of a generation so important to our modern Galician culture.
