On the premise of death as a cultural taboo, the article studies the diary of María Victoria Moreno, analysing her clear confrontation with its mystery. Attentive to the anthropological dimension through García-Sabell, she examines sensitively the religious vision of the resurrection, examining both examples of standard faith and those of passionate believers. She seems to resign herself to the humble and familiar consolation found in the memory loved ones. Through an assessment of that highly human attitude, this article concludes by offering key reflections of a philosophical and theological nature.
