Abstract

The year dedicated to Carlos Casares gave rise to numerous writings, scholarly essays (philological, historical and literary), accounts and personal reminiscences about him. As a coda to the foregoing, the President of the Real Academia Galega, himself an editor like Carlos Casares, evokes in a shared anecdote the personality and the commitments that belonged to the figure celebrated on the Día das Letras Galegas.
