Abstract

This article offers an appraisal of the Day of the Galician Letters dedicated to Xosé María Díaz Castro and it describes its impact among young people. It focuses on the authenticity of Díaz Castro’s poetry and the experience of those young people who discover him as a poet. It is also expressed the wish to continue on his path, his example of commitment to the Galician language and culture.
