Abstract

Valentín Paz-Andrade stands as a key figure in the history of modern Galicia. He was the inspirational mind behind the creation of important business initiatives and he conceived Galicia as a modern country with a mastering of its own natural and economic resources, and as a country which preserves a unique identity in its relationship to the world.
