Lois Pereiro, Galician Letters Day, poetry, death, love, marginalityAbstract
The Day of Galician Letters is a cultural tool that places an author and his work before all Galician society to be discovered, analyzed, appropriated or forgotten. Lois Pereiro’s case was that of the discovery of a great author and his work. A poet considered marginal, cantor of death and tragedy, but also of life and love, and who managed, with just two books published in his lifetime, to become a literary myth.
