Abstract

There is a certain unanimity of opinion in that the celebration of Galician Literature in 2025 was one of the most expansive. Not only were a very important number of people linked to traditional music and its associated movement involved; there was also a very important appeal to society in general. This helped to make visible all those women who were often little known or acknowledged even in their social and family environments, those great women teachers, that large number of traditional Galician female singers from whom many activists seeking to preserve traditional music learned.
