Abstract

The journalistic production of Carlos Casares is an interesting field to approach issues hardly explicable from a strictly literary perspective, such as the links between his ideology and his fictional creations. The point of view about women and feminism proposed by his opinion articles shows an interesting complement for the analysis of female characters in Casares’ fiction, where an interesting evolution in this way folows his literary consolidation.
